Strict rules apply to all reservations regarding cancellation or modification.
1.1. Procedure for urgent changes (< 48 hours): If the customer wishes to change or cancel the reservation within 48 hours before the start, this must be reported by telephone. If there is no answer, the customer must immediately send both an SMS message and an email. The burden of proof regarding timely notification lies with the customer.
1.2. Cancellation of the entire reservation:
More than 1 week before the start: Full refund (choice of a gift voucher or a bank transfer).
Between 1 week and 48 hours before the start: A fixed administrative fee of € 50 will be withheld. The remaining amount will be refunded in the form of a gift voucher.
Less than 48 hours before the start (or no-show): The full invoice amount (100%) is due as a fixed compensation for loss of income and personnel costs.
1.3. Change of date (Rescheduling):
More than 1 week before the start: Free of charge.
Less than 1 week before the start: An administrative fee of € 50 is due. The new date must fall within 3 months of the original date. If no new date is set, the cancellation rules in Art. 1.2 apply.
1.4. Change in the number of participants:
Up to 48 hours before the start: Verbal and written notification via telephone and email. The difference will be refunded or converted into a credit voucher.
Less than 48 hours before the start: The price difference will only be compensated via a credit voucher or can be used on-site for consumption (drinks). No cash refunds will be issued.
1.5. Cancellation by Puzzle Activities BV: If Puzzle Activities BV is forced to cancel the activity, the customer is entitled to a free rescheduling or a full refund of the amount already paid.
2.1. Punctuality: Puzzle Activities BV maintains a strict schedule. If the customer expects to arrive later than planned, this must be reported by telephone. If there is no answer, the customer must immediately send an SMS. In the event of a delay exceeding 15 minutes, we reserve the right to refuse access without the right to any form of refund, in order to avoid hindering subsequent bookings.
2.2. Monitoring & Privacy: The escape rooms are equipped with cameras and microphones. These are used exclusively for live game guidance and safety. No images are stored unless explicitly stated for security purposes in accordance with the Camera Act.
2.3. Right of Admission: We reserve the right to deny access to individuals or groups based on valid grounds (including intoxication or aggressive behavior). In such cases, no refund is possible.
2.4. Recording Ban: Video or audio recordings by participants are strictly prohibited. In the event of online distribution of images of puzzles/rooms, Puzzle Activities BV reserves the right to claim damages for infringement of intellectual property and trade secrets.
2.5. Damage: Intentional damage to installations or decor will be recovered in full from the person who caused it (or the person who made the booking), increased by an administrative fee of € 50.
2.6. Team Photos: Photos may be published on social media subject to the approval of the participants. Participants have the right to request the removal of these photos at any time.
3.1. Invoicing: Invoices are payable no later than 10 calendar days after the invoice date or on the day of the activity (whichever comes first). In the event of late payment, interest of 2% per month is due by operation of law, increased by a fixed administrative fee of € 40.
3.2. Liability: Participation is at your own risk. Puzzle Activities BV is not liable for physical injury, theft, or loss of personal property. Lockers are provided free of charge, but use is at your own risk.
3.3. Intellectual Property: All concepts, puzzles, and riddles are the property of Puzzle Activities BV. Copying or reproduction is prohibited.
3.4. Privacy & Marketing (GDPR): We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you explicitly choose to do so during booking, you may receive marketing messages via email or SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time and at no cost via the unsubscribe link provided in these messages or by contacting [email protected].
4.1. Partner Restaurants: Puzzle Activities BV acts only as an intermediary for promotional benefits at partner restaurants. We are not liable for the quality or execution of the services provided by these third parties.
4.2. Vouchers: Gift vouchers and discount codes must be redeemed during the online booking process. Sponsor vouchers are not cumulative.
